Topic: Saudi Arabia Lift Ban on Women Drivers

As you've all probably heard, Saudi Arabia have finally lifted their ban on women being able to drive in the country.

Great to see them stepping in the right direction in terms of gender equality, and hopefully more countries in which women are not able to drive soon follow suit.

Yeah true, they still have a lot of controversial laws and traditions, but this is a step in the right direction and deserves praise/encouragement/whatever you want to call it!

Yeah it's a step forward, so it should definitely be celebrated. One can say that this should never have been an issue to begin with, but the world is a big and diverse place so we can't expect everything to always work the same way. However, I do hope that they revise some of their other practices to help really propel the country forward.
