Has any member considered or has taken out a warranty package once their 5 year manufacture's has come to an end. Would welcome any tips and recommendations.

Unless they have changed a lot over the years don't bother they didnt used to be worth the paper they were printed on.

I have just used the 5 year plus service as they are heavily discounted and any additional work is also discounted.

I’d look at the eSenstials servicing options from Hyundai themselves. Unless you have a particularly good independent garage that you know and trust it’s one of the better options. Even the base service gives you 12 months breakdown cover, and their MOT at £40 is a pretty good price.
As for warranty. A friend of mine is in the used car trade, he sells a lot of premium brand ex lease cars that he purchases from the finance companies. He recommends Warranty Wise.

Was in my dealership mid October getting the alloys replaced unded warranty and enquired about extensions. Apparently Hyundai UK offer a 3 year cover for £720 against a Santa Fe. Decisions decisions decisions!!!

To be honest i would put the money in a savings account and keep my fingers crossed, Hyundai have a good reputation for reliability and even if something did go wrong £720 is a lump of cash and it would have to be something fairly major to force you to spend it all on one breakdown.
