General Chat / Dating an imported vehicle
« Last post by Chummers25 on October 13, 2023, 13:03:45 »
I've imported a 2013 Veloster from Singapore and the sellers have stopped responding to my messages and left me without a crucial piece of documentation.
In order to register it I require an 'expert' from a vehicle owners club or enthusiasts club to date the vehicle.
Does anyone in the community have the credentials to do that or know someone who can?
Thank you in advance for any help provided.

General Chat / Re: Hyundai i20 2011 model ABS problem

Hi Fergie777

My daughters i20 has had two ABS sensors changed apparently (I think) the near side rear is normally the first to go and causes lights to come on, she had a second one go about 18 months later this was the near side front.

General Chat / Hyundai i20 2011 model ABS problem
« Last post by Fergie777 on September 29, 2023, 20:50:52 »
Hi everyone, first time poster here, I have a problem with my i20, my Mrs has been driving it and heading downhill the ABS, skidlight and handbrake lights all pop on the dash, once she turned the vehicle off they all went away. But today they have came back and stayed on. I plugged a friends snap on into the car and the 3 codes below came up. C1207 - Left rear sensor speed jump, C1211 - Right rear wheel speed sensor air gap, C2112 - Valve relay or fuse fail. Any advice on how to fix these? Would it just be a case of replacing the speed sensor on the left and 'gently persuading' the right back in to close the air gap? Any advice would be most helpful.

Good day all ,
does anyone know of an audio repair business , or one man band , who can fix the OE Hyundai audio units ?
Specifically the unit from a 2012 i10 , which I understand seems to have a bit of a track record of failure .

Over to you then,
Thanks,

Hello.... 🥳

Not my first 'Hi n Dry', had a Pony 1.5Auto sal. LonnngggAgo 😮

Popped down to Leeds on my birthday, 4 July, and collected my 06 Getz 1.4GSi 5sp.
3 owners @ 63k.... And a clean MOT history.
Nice gunmetal met.... Not seen one in this colour.

I traded out my '98 Swift 5dr 1.0i Auto... YES >> there was some difference on the 105miles home from the way down 🤣🤣

Has a full service history and I'm going to Zero it out = oil/filter/airfilter/plugs.
What I DON'T know.... Cam belt 😧?

Get my tame mechanic to sort that 👍🛠️

Looking forward to reading other people's postings and, if anyone might be interested, I'll keep things updated with mine 🚙💨

Good news the dealer has refunded my deposit.
Better news I will soon be getting a brand new Duster 1.5 Diesel.
