Beyond the 5 year warranty?

Has any member considered or has taken out a warranty package once their 5 year manufacture's has come to an end. Would welcome any tips and recommendations.

Unless they have changed a lot over the years don't bother they didnt used to be worth the paper they were printed on.

I have just used the 5 year plus service as they are heavily discounted and any additional work is also discounted.

I’d look at the eSenstials servicing options from Hyundai themselves. Unless you have a particularly good independent garage that you know and trust it’s one of the better options.  Even the base service gives you 12 months breakdown cover, and their MOT at £40 is a pretty good price.

As for warranty. A friend of mine is in the used car trade, he sells a lot of premium brand ex lease cars that he purchases from the finance companies. He recommends Warranty Wise.

Previously drove 2011 Santa Fe Premium 7 seat man.
Also ride a 2 wheeled Triumph and fly a 22 wheeled Airbus.

Was in my dealership mid October getting the alloys replaced unded warranty and enquired about extensions. Apparently Hyundai UK offer a 3 year cover for £720 against a Santa Fe. Decisions decisions decisions!!!

To be honest i would put the money in a savings account and keep my fingers crossed, Hyundai have a good reputation for reliability and even if something did go wrong £720 is a lump  of cash and it would have to be something fairly major to force you to spend it all on one breakdown.
