Low bite on clutch
« on: March 04, 2020, 19:28:26 »
Hi Everyone, My car has just been in for a heath check under my service plan. Its come back with a red warning for low biting point on my clutch, with a price to fix it of nearly 700 quid. The bite point has always been that low since I bought the car 9 months ago. Not sure if this could actually be the cylinders or the slave as too much plastics to see if they are leaking. Any advise on this would be much appreciated

I would have thought it was more likely to be the clutch friction plate that has worn and requires replacing. What mileage has the car done?

Usually get a high bite point with worn clutch friction plate.
