Hi all need some help,otherwise i will have to scrap my 2004 santa fe crdi.It cut out on me on motorway,thought timing belt had gone,have had it at my local garage,who first checked the timing/belt all ok.they have changed a sensor on front of engine for fuel,which showed it was not this,they have now said it is either injectors or fuel pump,but to remove and check injectors alone is going to cost £400,without any other work,

Is there any other way to find out what is wrong without spending up to £2g?

also should i replace with used parts,how easy is it to re-programme them?do they need re-programming?

any help appreciated,thanks
