Hi all newbie here. I have an i10, and when I lock the car using the key fob, the indicators do not flash. They do flash when unlocking. Can anyone tell me if this is normal, and if not what do I need to do to sort it.

My i30 behaves the same if there's a door ajar or if the hatch isn't fully latched.

On some occasions you'll also see this behaviour where the rubber bonnet stopper doesn't competely depress  the alarm switch [under the hood].
