Just bought my first ever new car, a Hyundai i10 Premium SE and am well impressed at how such a small car can seem to drive like a much larger one. Currently done 310 miles and am doing what was known in my day as "Running in"   am keeping it below 4000rpm for the first 600 miles, is there anything else I should do, or know that will help to give a good long life from my new toy?

Congratulations on your new car I would be very interested to hear how you get on having considered 'downgrading' to an i10 a couple of times over the last few years.

I have now done 2300 miles in my first month... I commute 120 miles per day and odds and sods during weekends and so far it has done all I ask. Comfy, easy to park, real-world 50mpg. With the cruise control on Sat nav on and music playing through Android auto it is a very nice place to be for my 1 and 1/2 hour drive each way.  Not regretting downsizing one bit !
It's a big car in a small package and I like it very much.

My i10 se has now hit 5k miles and I still love it, it's just as nice and comfy to drive as a bigger car.
