Hi all I'm new here so please be kind!
So my dad changed my lamp bulb in my Hyundai i30 09 reg today.
After putting it all back together my headlights no longer turn off automatically.
I normally turn the engine off (if the ignition is on the parking lights stay on) but if  take the key out and the lights turn off automatically.
Since he put the wires back in they don't do this but he swears he hasn't put  anything back  wrong?
Can anyone help?
Ps sorry if this has already been posted?

Thanks

If your dad changed the bulb in the daylight he would probably have had to have set the light switch to "ON" rather than "Auto" to check them. Make sure the light switch is set to Auto

How can you tell if their set to auto? I usually just turn the lights on when needed by turning the light stick on the left then when I turn the car off they automatically go to parking lights without me touching the stick. Then take key out and hey turn off?
