hello people .
my wife has just bought a 2.2 diesel auto santa fe 2006.
what are the room using for a diagnostic reader.
-
I use a bluetooth ELM327 OBD2 connector (£5 from ebay) and an Android app called Torque Pro
-
will this work on a lap top to ?

Depends on the software you run on it and whether it has bluetooth capability. There are other types of reader that connect to the OBD2 port...
OBD2/EOBD Scan Tool (eBay) (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MaxiScan-MS309-OBD2-Car-Diagnostic-Fault-Code-Scanner-Reader-CAN-OBDII-EOBD-Fast/201575312045?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D36559%26meid%3D7abb88e8cb5042deb1cf719d54b3da7d%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D162059211196)

I have the maxi scan shown above, might not be the exact same model. Can't remember if I bought it on Amazon or EBay, but it was very cheap. Never needed it on the Santa Fe but it's been very useful for other cars in the family.

yes I have one of those too. I will try it and see
thank you
