Title: Roof Bars & Bike Carriers

Hi Folks,

I recently bought my second ever Hyundai - I'm now the proud owner of a 2016 Tucson SE Nav B Drive having 10 years ago owned an automatic Accent in Australia. I am trying to source some roof bars and attachments to allow me to transport a couple of bikes. Halfords are quoting me approx £300 and tell me that it can only be Thule bars. Any ideas of a more cost effective answer?

A really good supplier is roofbox.co.uk
They’ll have a range of bars, including many brands of aero shaped bars, and have a range of cycle carriers to fit on them.

As your car is a similar height to mine, you might prefer to go with a towbar mounted carrier. I use one from Buzzrack, supplied by the roof box company.
