Yes.
I had an issue many years ago not long after a Hy dealer service whilst still under warranty.
The front jets would not work so I called in the dealers and they found the mixture had gelled.
Said they had started using pre packed concentrate but the "trainee" had not mixed before use. Just poured into tank........

Hi All,

Was just wondering if anyone else has problems with washer jets on their Hyundai? I use concentrate and mix myself and always have on all my cars over the years and never had problems. However, my daughter's i10 and i20 plus my Tuscon have all over the last few years had problems with them blocking and being replaced. The dealer said my two daughter cars were most likely because they don't use the washer jets much and the fluid crystalizes in the jets blocking them? My Tuscon they just changed them under warranty and didn't really offer any explanation.

Thx Sean

My first thought is the child lock system is faulty and the little thingy you move is not working as it should.

But checking my rears I can not open the doors unless I press the unlock button on my dash or until front doors opened or key removed.

Check your owners manual to see if it gives an insight as to how the rear doors operate.

Hyundai i10 2017 se model
The rear doors cannot be opened from inside, irrepective of whether I have the door lock switch mechanism on the door panel turned to 1 (on) 2 (off)

The doors can still be opened from the outside, or as soon as the driver/passenger door is opened, or the driver opens using the button on the drivers door handle, or by clicking the drivers window latch to open..

I want to be able to allow my adult passengers to exit the rear unhindered. Rear windows ccan be ysed by rear occupants, even when door lock prevents exit.

After reading the information stating, "The infotainment system may change after software updates. For more details, refer to the user’s manual in the infotainment system and the quick reference guide," there lies the explanation.

After the first experience with the reset, the second event was a breeze, but I’d like to understand why updates cause it to revert to factory default. That being said, I must admit that this model's update meets my expectations and has been an absolute pleasure to drive so far.

This morning, I got into the car and was notified about a 10-minute update. I went inside for a cup of tea, and when I returned, the screen indicated the update was successful. However, upon starting the car, I noticed that most features, including the phone settings, had been reset to factory defaults. Is this normal?

When I started the car this morning after yet another update, it had reset to factory defaults again—so frustrating. :-X

Update to my thread.

I arrived home yesterday and was about to shut down when an update popped up on the screen, offering the option to install now or later. Choosing later, as it once again indicates it will take ten minutes. Today, on startup, it appeared again. This time, I chose "install," and it advised keeping the engine running for a clean installation. True to its word, it completed the installation within the allocated time and confirmed it was successful. It seems to be a satnav update along with some other minor tweaks. Everything seems to be working fine, but only time will tell—fingers crossed.  8)

I'm reading that this feature only recently became available, starting with the IONIQ 6 model.

"Hyundai has been offering Over-The-Air (OTA) updates since the IONIQ 6 model, which is the first to support this feature. The updates are available at the push of a button, allowing users to receive the latest software features and performance enhancements directly to their vehicles without needing to visit a dealership. More Hyundai models are expected to adopt this OTA update capability in the future."
