Why must one login . . .

I can understand the need to register to post and even perhaps to login to search, but why must one login to view the forum?

Just seems strange.

I agree it's unusual but if someone's genuinely interested in conversing in all things Hyundai then it's well worth the overhead.

On our current hosting plan, bandwidth is a premium. When the forum was fully open almost all our allocation was being chewed up by Googlebot, Bingbot, Yandex, Baidu and MSNbot.
