Garage recommendation
« on: June 02, 2018, 19:06:44 »
Hi i am looking for a garage to do a major service on my Santa FE 2010 model but not a main dealer.
It has not had a real service for a few years as my EX had the car and I’ve just got it back.

It has to be in the Greater Manchester area preferably Bury area but Not main dealer and if anyone has the service schedule for the Santa fe that i could have a copy of the would be great, something like what the main dealer gives you after a service.
Thanks

Have you considered the Hyundai plan for older cars?

You may pay more for additional parts or extra work but £129 to £259 doesn’t look too bad.

Servicing can be cheaper when Pre booked on line, rather than by calling a garage.

yes i use to play each garage off against each other for the cheapest price
Now i have e mailed to find out what the difference is between the 80K service (£379) and the essential full service (£249) apart from the mega price difference.
prices are approx
Thanks

I think the 60k includes transmission fluid, the other services don’t. I really can’t think of anything that isn’t covered in the full essential service. However I did spot there is a £30 surcharge for SUVs that I didn’t include in the £249 for a full service and MOT.

The Full service includes:
• Oil & filter change using the appropriate grade of oil
• Replacement of Engine Air Filter and Spark Plugs
• Replace vehicle fluids including brake fluid, transmission fluid and engine coolant
• Replace rear axle oil and transfer box oil (4WD only)
• Work completed by trained Hyundai Technicians
• Installation of applicable Engine Management software updates
• 2 year Hyundai warranty on all parts fitted during the service
• Hyundai stamp in your vehicle service book
• Hyundai Digital Work Record updated
• Register for 12 months AA Roadside assistance (T&Cs Apply)
