OK tech heads work this one out as to what is wrong.
When I put a disc in VDO dc631/632 you get one bleep the the disc is ejected.
All discs both original and copy discs.
Did you know the longest nerve in your body is the Anal Eye Nerve.
Why Because when you pull a hair out of your bum it makes your Eyes water

Tried a cleaning disc and it ejected that as well!
All discs do the same I think the read laser has gone.

Why would the read laser mean that it ejects the disc? - Surely that would let you insert it, then just tell you there was nothing on it.

Either way I think it's time to replace the head unit.

It just gave one bleep then the disc was ejected.
So jumped in and purchased a new Kenwood to replace the old one.
It even has a USB port and I can plug the phone in too.
Great ELO Out of the Blue in the car now.
You should have seen the old mount that came out, you would think it was made in a ship yard it was so strong.
